ALU-PREP-C. – Special Metal Cleaner for Aluminium Prior To AluZinc Process
This is a General purpose cleaner and is used as cold cathodic cleaner prior to Aluzinc process.
EQUIPMENT
Welded steel tank. Facility for Electrolytic cleaning.
PROCEDURE
- Aluprep-C – 25 g/L
- Fill the tank with water to 2/3 of its capacity.
- Add the requisite quantity of Metal Cleaner Salts with stirring to dissolve.
- Make-up to volume.
- Stir to mix.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
- Temperature – Room (Mumbai)
- Voltage – 4 to 6
- Time – 1 to 3 minutes
